This history class surveys the events, ideas, and culture of ancient civilizations of the world, from the Fertile Crescent in the third millennium BCE to the Roman Tetrarchy in 300 CE. The class primarily focuses on the development of Western Civilization, with forays into the Far East. Shaped to pair well with Lit 1. This class is intended for 9th and 10th graders and ambitious 8th graders (but all are welcome!). 

This class will meet on Tuesdays at 2 pm, Eastern Standard Time

All class sessions will be recorded (recordings available from September through the end of August).

Class size is limited to 50 students.
